initiative under development
Plenna is an international non-profit, non-political and secular organization that seeks to help people consider and prepare for the end of life.
Death is often associated with fear, stigma and uncertainty. It doesn’t have to be. Planning for it can be simple, make an enormous difference for oneself and others, and make life easier and less worrisome.
Plenna aims to bring existing ideas, resources and people together so that they complement and reinforce each other, and help people to make better choices and save money.
Plenna seeks to:
Undertake research and analysis around issues related to the end of life, for example whether they be cultural, demographic, economical, logistical, medical, political, social, spiritual and/or technical
Make information on the question more easily available
Conduct advocacy to address and overcome misconceptions, and improve the effectiveness of existing approaches
Develop and coordinate links to related services to serve people
Plenna is a young organization funded through voluntary contributions, grants and commissions.
